Earl J. Field Memorial Playground

Norridge Park District, Earl J Field Memorial Playground

The Playground is located directly behind the Norridge Recreation Center (4631 N. Overhill Ave.) and designed for the recreational use of children up to age 12.

The Park’s Playground was renovated in 2006 and dedicated to the late President of Norridge, Earl J. Field, in July of 2009.

The Playground features two areas: a Tot Lot for younger children to enjoy slides, swings, a small swinging bridge and many other climbing features; and a Rocket Ship for children 5-12 years of age that boasts a pretend flight deck with rocket ship controls, a rock climbing wall, numerous winding slides, a zip line and several additional climbing features.

Please Note:
  • The Park District routinely inspects its playgrounds to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Safe play involves kids and adults knowing the safety rules and age appropriateness of each playground.
