West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA)

Since 1982, West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA), in partnership with the Norridge Park District, has offered therapeutic recreation programs for residents of all ages with a disability or special education need.

WSSRA is a special recreation cooperative serving the residents of 9 park districts and 2 villages who have a developmental, sensory or physical disability.  Year-round recreation programs and special events are made available through the WSSRA and are designed and supervised by Recreation Specialists who have educational backgrounds in disabilities.
