POOL SEASON SUMMER 2024

Opening Date - Summer 2024

At this time we do not have an official opening date.  We anticipate late August to be open through Labor Day and possibly later into Septmeber depending on weather and staff availability.  Please read below for updates.

POOL REPLACEMENT PROJECT

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS 

July 25, 2024 Update

• Dive Well - Painting and tile work being completed.  Next items include installation of the dive tower railings, dive boards and drop slide.
• Splash Pad - Next items include play feature installation.
• Zero Depth Leisure Pool - Painting and tile work being completed. Next items include installation of the stair railings, Water Walk play feature and zero depth play features.
• Lap Pool - Vessel completed.  Next items include painting and tile work.
• North End of site - Formwork prep for deck pour.
• Mechanical Room - Next items are final pipe installations and water heater install.
• Perimiter Fence Installation - begins in approximately 1 week.
• Lights Posts - Installation begins after deck pour on north end of site.
• Planning IDPH review of site August 16 - August 23.  
• Anticipated open date - end of August.  Will update as we near completion.

Summer Season Pass

Park District of Franklin Park is offering Norridge Park District residents discounted rates to enjoy their Pool on Pacific until the Norridge Aquatic Center opens.

• Norridge Park District Residents are eligible.

• You must obtain a Norridge Park District Resident Pass at:

                                Norridge Recreation Center         M-F          9am-5pm

                                Pool/Fitness Facility                        M-F          7am-8pm

                                                                                         Sat/Sun   8am-5pm

• The Norridge Resident Pass is not a pool pass.  It is proof of residency within the park district.

• In order to receive the discounted rate at Franklin Park you MUST bring the Norridge Resident Pass.  This is required for purchasing a season pass and daily admission.

• After you obtain your Residency Pass the may purchase a season pool pass at Franklin Park:

                                Community Center, 9560 Franklin Avenue, 847-455-2852

                                M-Th: 9am-8pm, F: 9am-5pm, Sat: 9am-12pm

         You may purchase a pool pass at the Poll on Pacific, but will still need to go to the                          Community Center during the above hours to have photo taken and pass printed.

• Season Passes purchased for the Pool on Pacific by Norridge Park District Residents will be honored at the Norridge Pool when we open late summer.
