Suggest a New Program

Do you have an idea for a program or event you would like to see offered by the Norridge Park District? Better yet, do you have a special interest or talent you would like to share with others? The Norridge Park District is looking for new program/event ideas and local "hidden" talent to teach or lead various recreational classes. We are always looking for new instructors with creative ideas. If you have a particular interest or talent and are willing to lead activities; or if you have a suggestion for a new program or event, please fill out the following form and return it to the registration office.

Each submission will be entered to win a drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate to use for any Norridge Park District recreation activity! You could be the lucky winner! Drawing will be held May 15, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Norridge Recreation Center. Ideas are always welcome - any time of year!

Thursday Evenings, July 9 through August 6Music in the Park 2009

Looking for something fun the whole family can do together without spending a ton of money? Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and Rock' to the tunes of the Norridge Park District Summer Concert Series!! It's FREE to attend and enjoyable for all ages!

All concerts begin at 7:00pm on Thursday evenings at the Norridge Park District - 4631 N. Overhill Ave. In the case of inclement weather most concerts will be held inside the Norridge Recreation Center gymnasium.

Make a night of it and get dinner or snacks from the Norridge Park District concession stand. Enjoy reasonably-priced grilled food, personal pizzas, nachos, pretzels, popcorn, ice-cream, sno-cones and more!

The members of 215 West love to perform and their enthusiasm is infectious. This four piece group consists of bass, guitar, keyboard and drums. All four members sing lead vocals and background harmonies. The repertoire for the group is constantly growing and evolving and it's not unusual to hear the group jump from Motown, to current Top 40's, 50's, Rock, Latin Dance, 40's, Swing, 70's Disco and end with a Classic Rock, or a Chicago Blues tune.
